Hi there! My name is Charisma and I am one of the photographers of Goose on the Moon.
My favorite part thing about photography is helping people gain confidence.
Often times I hear people say they’re not photogenic or that they feel too awkward to have their photo taken. But I think photos are important. They hold a lot of memories and are things you and your loved ones can look back on. I use photography as a way to change how people look at themselves. As someone who struggles with insecurities myself I know what difference a good photo can make.
Fun fact: I did dance in college and studied art! College was when I was really struggling mentally and so a lot of my work centered around that. My senior thesis was a series of murals that was uplifting with a hope to make people feel loved and seen. With dancing I worked with a lot of first time dancers and helped them feel confident enough to perform in front of a crowd.
So whether it’s through photography or any other art I make, I hope to continue helping people feel comfortable in their own skin and help them gain the confidence to try new things.
